Search and Rescue Funding Applications Now Available

TORONTO - Emergency Management Ontario is accepting New Search-and-Rescue Initiatives Fund (NIF) grant applications for fiscal year 2007/2008.

NIF provides funding for new initiatives related to response, prevention and research and development that will enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of search and rescue activities in Canada.

The deadline for submitting both the electronic and signed hard copies of applications is August 1, 2006.
