Application Process

Application for EMO Courses

To apply for an EMO course please fill out an EMO course application form. Priority will be given to target audiences.

No fees are charged for EMO courses. Participants are responsible for their own meal, accommodation and travel costs.

Provincially and federally recognized course completion certificates will be issued for all courses.

Applications must be submitted 10 working days prior to the start date of the course.

Application for Canadian Emergency Management College (CEMC) Courses

EMO is responsible for booking all Ontario participants attending the Emergency Site Management (ESM) and the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) courses conducted by the CEMC in Ottawa. Please read the guidelines.

CEMC course dates can be found at the This link will exit this site and take you to the CEMC website.CEMC website. To apply for a CEMC course please fill out the CEMC application form. The pre-requisite for these courses is Ontario's Basic Emergency Management Course. Application forms must be signed and a photocopy of the course certificate or equivalent (for courses prior to 2003) must accompany all applications (either fax or mail). Please do not email application forms. Applications must be sent to EMO.
