Removing a Name

If an offender receives a pardon for all criteria sex offences, the offender will be able to have his or her name and personal information removed from the registry.

First though, the offender will have to provide proof of a pardon to a local police service.

Only the staff members in the Ontario Sex Offender Registry office are able to remove an offender’s record from the registry.
