Blood Pressure
If you are 40 years of age or less, answer “no” to all 7 PAR-Q questions and have a blood pressure equal to or less than 144/94 mmHg, you can participate in the PREP. Otherwise, a physician must complete the PARmed-X form to give clearance before you can take part in the PREP. Regardless of your PAR-Q responses, it is suggested that you have a physical examination by a physician before doing the PREP. In addition, prior to participation, you must sign an Informed Consent Form which contains information about each component of the PREP test and identifies any risks associated with participation. |
