Important Dates to Remember

• All licences and business registrations are valid for one-year from the date of issue.
• Businesses that employ their own in-house security guards and/or private investigators will have to register with the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch and their security personnel will have to be licensed. To ensure all registrations and licences are issued on time, businesses and individuals are requested to apply after August 23, 2007 and before August 23, 2008.
• All regulations are in force as of August 23, 2007 with the exception of:
  • Uniforms - will come into force on August 23, 2009
  • Security Vehicles - will come into force on August 23, 2009
  • Insurance - will come into force on August 23, 2008
