Important Dates

• All licences and business registrations are valid for one year from the date of issue.
• Businesses that employ their own in-house security guards and/or private investigators will have to register with the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch and their security personnel will have to be licensed.
• All regulations are now in force:

• Uniforms – came into force August 23, 2009
• Security Vehicles - came into force August 23, 2009
• Insurance – came into force August 23, 2008
• Training and Testing - came into force April 15, 2010
