Important Dates
- All licences and business registrations are valid for one year from the date of issue.
- Businesses that employ their own in-house security guards and/or private investigators will have to register with the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch and their security personnel will have to be licensed.
- All regulations are in force as of August 23, 2007 with the exception of:
- Uniforms – came into force August 23, 2009
- Security Vehicles - came into force August 23, 2009
- Insurance – came into force August 23, 2008
