COMMUNITY RISK ASSESSMENTS GUIDELINES

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management (OFMEM) is pleased to announce the Technical Guideline on Community Risk Assessments, TG-02-2019.
The guideline is designed to assist municipalities and fire departments in territories without municipal organization in conducting community risk assessments and making informed decisions about fire protection services in accordance with Ontario Regulation 378/18.
The guideline outlines suggested best practices and includes sample worksheets that can be used or adapted to suit the unique needs of any community. The guideline can be viewed and downloaded now at the following link. The sample worksheets will be available for download in August.
