Reminder: Public Consultation on the implementation of Technical Advisory Committee recommendations to enhance fire safety in occupancies housing seniors, people with disabilities and vulnerable Ontarians

The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Office of the Fire Marshal and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing are inviting public comment on a package of proposed changes to Ontario’s Fire Code and Building Code resulting from the Technical Advisory Committee recommendations to enhance fire safety in occupancies housing seniors, people with disabilities and vulnerable Ontarians.

This is a reminder to submit your comments before the consultation period ends on February 28, 2013. Your participation is important and encouraged as feedback will help guide the implementation of these important recommendations.
