Subsection 19.(4) Assistance for Inspectors
"An inspector who enters land or premises under this section may take with him or her a police officer or such other person as he or she considers advisable to assist."
To enable an inspector to carry out the powers ascribed to him/her by obtaining the assistance of the police or other people able to assist.
Does this subsection allow the inspector to take a police officer in order to effect the removal of persons where required?
This subsection allows the inspector to call on persons to assist, including a police officer, but this does not permit the use of force to carry out the provisions of this clause of the Act.
